Described as Charm City's "Soul Brother number 1" J.S.O.U.L was birthed from baltimore's deep rooted music scene. Somewhere chillin between the fusion of soul,hip-hop,r&b, and the unknown is where you'll find him. A product of the longest running open mic series in baltimore "ORGANIC SOUL TUESDAYS" where he perfected his craft on stage literally right in front of the c...rowds eyes he has become beloved in the city of baltimore as a steady source of good music with his relentless efforts. Singing song's of inspiration, pain,pleasure,life and of course love create's the eclectic, soulful, yet funkdefied sound that he present's to the world. Releasing his first 2 demo efforts in 2001 & 2002 paved the way for his first major indie release
"URBAN RETROSPECTIVE" in 2004 on the BLACKOUT STUDIOS RECORD IMPRINT."
